Arts-y | Western wear is an ageless American fashion and always ripe for reinvention. While visiting the tiny historic, unincorporated town of Locke, California, RustMag traveled back in time and lingered among the leaning two-story wooden buildings built by Chinese immigrants in the early 20th century. The town was once dubbed the “Monte Carlo of California,” but today it quietly speaks its own unique language of creaking floors and crossed cultures.
